Clothing and shoes

Reviewed: Toms Shoes

I ordered my first pair of TOMS (Chocolate Canvas Classics) about 9 months ago and it has been a slow but steady love affair. I loved the way they look but soon realized that my usual size was a tad too small and the shoes gave me blisters. But since I really liked them I suffered through a couple of blisters until they stretched just enough. Now they are a snug and cozy fit and I am blister free.  Moral of the story, order a half size up. Needless to say my second pair of TOMS, (Canvas Wedge in Ash), are a half size bigger,  soooo comfortable and NO blisters. The canvas is strong and durable and not the least bit scratchy (like some knock-off brands!) The website brags that they go with everything and I have to agree. I just wish I lived in a climate that was more conducive to wearing my TOMS more often. For obvious reasons they are not good in the rain but if you do find yourself stuck in the rain (as I have) I will say that they dry perfectly well and have never lost their shape. The color has not faded and the sole is still in pretty good shape too.

WOW Factor

  • Comfortable and fun to wear

  • Versatile styles…something for everyone

  • And most of all….TOMS gives one pair of shoes to a child in need for every pair purchased. http://www.toms.com/our-movement/

Buyer Beware

  • They run a little small and narrow, I recommend a half-size up

Price:

Children shoes start at $34.00             Adult shoes start at $44.00

Final Verdict

You really cannot go wrong with a pair of TOMS and you are helping a needy child get a new pair of shoes !
